Sketch a Day, the Rules.

This is the begining of a new section of my blog, and a project I need to focus on.  I will try, for the next 365 days to work on, finish and post, a Sketch a Day in addition to any other posts I make in Creativity Unleashed.

My plan is to connect my twitter account with this blog and through tweets and comments get an idea of what people want to see me sketch.  In the meantime, however, I will go through a stack of sketches I never finished and wish to redo.

In each of these cases I will post a before image of the sketch I intend to redo, and the re-done piece.  As I move onto suggested sketches I will post the tweet or comment and then the image.

  1. This is a great idea. Suggestion though. Give yourself a set amount of time to do the sketch. 1 hour. 90 minutes. That way, you don’t spend your whole day working on something, forget to post it, kick yourself in the ass for failing. Or whatever you’d do.
I’d say go for 60-90 minutes tops.
